variable "lenstype" only for Canon or Nikon?
« on: September 29, 2015, 04:26:13 AM »
Hi,

I'm using Fuji X's as walkaround-cameras.
Is there a possibility to read out the lenstypeinformation of fuji-exifs like Canon or Nikon?

It likely is possible.  That data is most likely stored in the Fuji's proprietary Maker Note information that we would have to reverse engineer.  If the demand for Maker Note support for Fuji cameras increased, we'd make it a higher priority.
