Strange color problem in preview
« on: October 22, 2015, 09:10:05 AM »
Hi

I updated to the latest OS X release yesterday, and have the latest release of Photo Mechanic.

I was looking through some photos, all looked normal. When I double clicked on one of them in preview, there were a lot of dark blue colors on the photo. Looking at other photos, all had the dark blue color. Photos types were jpg, nef and dng. All have the same problem.

When I use the MacOs preview, it looks fine. When I open them in Photoshop, they are fine.

The files below are screen snaps, macOS preview, photoshop, photo mechanic Tab view and the Photo Mechanic preview.

On my MacBook pro, which was also updated yesterday, the problem does not exist.

Any recommendations. Or should I just reinstall the app???

You need to turn off the lost shadows indicator feature.

Jeez, that was easy.  ... (feeling a bit foolish). Never used the function, must have pressed N by mistake.

Thanks!!!
