Preferences export does not work anymore

I'm not able to export preferences anymore. At three different workstations the same problem since the newest update (today, February, 21st. 2016).
Please see the attached file that shows the occurred error.
I need that feature very urgent ;-(.

I suggest getting a previous build and using it to do your exports.  Older builds are available here:

Thanks Kirk,

a downgrade to build 16960 helped, import and export are working well; but I noticed that the import in the new version (17146) doesn't work as well (not only the export).

Is downgrade still the recommendation?   I went to migrate my settings to a tablet, and it fails (just says errors occurred).

Or is there a workaround or fix?

You can downgrade for now.  There is no fixed build available at this time.
