Photo crop sizing
« on: April 09, 2016, 06:24:38 PM »
Is there a way in PM to save the cropped images to 3000 x 2216? I set the crop ratio to 3.0 x 2.216 and copy that ratio to all photos. When I export the images they keep[ the aspect ratio but are not all coming out with the same image size (2.216x3 or 3x2.216). In lightroom i can keep the long edge to 3.00. Is there way to do in PM? Thanks in advance i'm new to PM.

What are you using to produce the output images?  Save As?  You can scale to box size in pixels @ 3000 and all of your images will be 3000 pixels on their long side.

I was using the export feature to put in a separate folder. In the export feature I sized to 3.0 x 2.216
Only certain images were saved at that size.  Also is the crop just an overlay or can you apply the crop and have the photos cropped at one time in PM?

Crops are always non-destructive in PM.  One must do some sort of export/save in order to realize the cropped image.
