Secondary destination?
« on: July 20, 2016, 10:43:11 AM »
on ingest - PM is asking for a Secondary destination - which I had set up. But is not at the moment. The problem is I can't figure out WHAT IT WAS! is there a way to see the old setting? I have multiple drives. all seem to be working. I don't know what happened. Feeling stupid right now!
Thanks

No, there is no way to see an old setting.  Is the path shown under the Secondary Destination blank?

Interesting that you don't remember what the second destination was ;D

Anyway, if you haven't changed it, then my guess is that the media onto which you were writing is no longer available (e.g., a disconnected external drive or network volume). Perhaps that'll help you remember what it was. Also, did you save your ingest settings as a preset (lightning bolt)? Then the path will still be in that file. Just locate it and open it in an editor (it's an XML file).
