Preview : Zoom Panel at 100%
« on: July 25, 2016, 10:31:34 AM »
Hi there,
I'm a little bit confuse with the zoom panel . When I put it at 100% (1X), it's not the same size that the 100% of photoshop.
100% of PM is much more biger, than the 100% of PS.
=>on small details,  one picture which could look like missing a little bit of focus/sharpeness in PM, is in fact, perfectly OK, when I check it in PS.

So , which 100% should I trust ? PM or PS ?
Alex

What file types are you viewing? Some raw files only have a smallish embedded jpg and that's what PM uses when viewing the file.

I use raw files from a canon 6D and canon 1DX .
The 100% in PM is more biger, than in PS.

Hmm, to my knowledge and experience both of your cameras have full size previews so that's not the issue. Does your computer have a high resolution (HDPI) screen? If so, then perhaps you haven't told PM to use HDPI mode? If that's not the case what is the size of the image in pixels according to PM and photoshop?

Thank you Hayo.

I was using the HDPI mode " better" , I have change to " Best" , and it seams to have fixe the probleme.
I do have a retina screen. Usually , I use a Eizo screen with no pb, but i'm travelling.

So thank you !
