I keep a copy of Nikon NX-D loaded just for that purpose, but if I could check focus points from within PM that would be so much quicker and easier.
I would love to see that feature in PM.

Showing focus points is, in my view, merely interesting.  It won't help me when I'm culling from 2000 photos from a game.

Focus peaking, on the other hand, will quickly show what's in focus and what's not.  That's information I can use to speed up the process.

Further, it's not camera dependent -- as are focus points.

I'm not disagreeing with the focus peaking advocates that have posted here, and as far as making it a new feature in PM it wouldn't hurt to post a request about it. However, I just wanted to point out that it's a completely different thing than the subject at hand, which is displaying focus points, so I'd hate to see it turn into a "one or the other" debate.

BreezeBrowser Pro from Breeze Systems also displays focus points, it's $95:

At this point I think we'd rather pursue focus peaking as it is not dependent on undocumented data, camera manufacturer code libraries (which can often be nasty to deal with) and works with all cameras.  That said, we're very busy on Catalog and features such as this will have to wait.

Thanks for your interest and your feature requests.
