Amazon S3 timeout issue

Hi everyone,

My company is trying to utilize Photo Mechanic and Amazon's S3 service to upload videos, but we are running into problems.

When we try to upload, we get this error message: "Unable to upload: Timeout waiting for account parameters from server."

I have seen mentions elsewhere on this message board that the location of the Amazon severs can be an issue. But our server is configured for US Standard/East Region.

I am able to upload via CyberDuck, so it doesn't feel like a credentials issue.

Any ideas?

Hi Spencer,

   Thank you for the update. I'm using the USA west location for my S3 buckets.  I'll try to setup a bucket on the eastern server to see if I am able to recreate your upload problem.
