Multitasking Please!!!!!

I'd love to see the ability to have PhotoMechanic working on Saving As a batch of 2000 images while allowing me to work on tagging and sorting the next event I'm working on.  When I sit down to work, I'm often finished with one job and stuck waiting for exports to happen before being able to go on to the next job.  Help please!
