Registration URL and Blocking Social Media Sharing
« on: April 24, 2017, 09:47:18 AM »
Because of the security requirements at our facility we need to block Photo Mechanic from accessing the internet.  That will clearly be an issue for registration...  We can create an exception for the URL the software uses to perform the registration, we just need to know what it is.

Also, we need to block social media sharing via the application.  Is there a way to disable this feature in PM on Windows workstations without blocking all WWW traffic from the computer?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

I sent you a personal message with the details.

Besides Twitter, are there any other templates you want to block?

The Twitter template will contact 'https://api.twitter.com/' to do its work.  You could block any URLs starting with that prefix.
