Applying IPTC date problem
« on: June 09, 2017, 02:13:23 PM »
I'm stumped!  Windows 10 64 bit, PM V5 Build 18610

I applied an IPTC stationary pad to change only the Special Instructions and Color Class.  That worked but it also changed the creation date to 13 Nov 2013 from photos taken over a week in Feb 2017.  I checked and could find nothing in the IPTC pad I was using having anything to with creation date.

Any ideas?

Jerry

Is the date on your computer correct?

Hi Kirk,

Yes, the date and time are correct-as well as the time zone.

I had closed and reopened PM and the results were the same.  Now it gets weird - I just tried the same IPTC stationary on several of the same files and it worked fine!  I hate it when a problem self-cures.  For now all is well. Grrrr...

Thanks,
Jerry
