Getting Canon 5D Mark VI RAW files into Lightroom 5

Hi All
I just upgraded my Camera to A Canon 5d Mark VI!:-) But now i can't get the RAW file to open in Light-room 5 after i have tag then in PM, open them file OK!

Any ideas how to get them to open fast in Light-room please?

I assume you mean you have a Canon 5D Mk-IV  ;)

Unfortunately Lightroom 5 does not support that camera as it was released after Lightroom 6. So...

You'll have to (assuming you wish to stick with LR) either upgrade to LR-6 (minimum version for 5d-Mk4 support is LR-6.7) or LR-CC; or use Adobe's free DNG Converter to convert your CR2 files to DNG, which can then be imported into LR-5.
