Using variables in 'Find and replace'
« on: June 27, 2017, 07:25:50 AM »
Hey Guys,

I've got a question! Hope somebody can help me with this... I always add the date of a photo in the description. I do this with the variable {datesort}, for some reason I made a mistake and I added the date 20170423 to all the photo's from this date and later. I thought I could fix this easily with the 'Find and replace' function by replacing '20170423' for '{datesort}'. But it doesn't seem to work. The function doesn't recognize variables. Somebody have an other or better solution to get the dates right? Without editing all the photos one for one?

Cheers,
Lars

Instead of using find and replace, you could just rename them again using that variable.  The end result should be the same.
