Two Photos Top and Bottom Don't fit

Greetings,
I have discovered that when in Two Photos Top and Bottom preview mode, the images are cropped and cannot be seen full frame?
They display properly when in Side By Side mode, and also in single mode.

Here are screen shots of the Top and Bottom problem.
I have 3 screen grabs,
First is of a single image in the preview window- it displays properly
Second is a side by side preview window that shows no cropping- images displayed fine
Third is a Top and Bottom preview that shows cropping- seems that it is scaled for the horizontal dimension, but that crops the vertical dimension.

These are just standard jpegs out of a Canon eos1 X camera.
the first fraction of a second when I go to Top and Bottom, the image is properly sized, and then it jumps to the larger cropped size.

I'll try calling the support number tomorrow,
