Export recorded GPS coordinates to another computer
« on: January 17, 2018, 12:16:47 PM »
Hi everyone;

Is is possible to export recorded GPS coordinates from one computer to another?
I am using PM on a MacBook and on a PC. I have used it mostly on the mac to start with, and I have now exported my PM preferences to my PC installation.
One thing that I can't figure out: in the GPS window (Mac: Image / Set GPS coordinates) i have recorded a number of locations where i often take pictures so that I can geotag pictures there quickly. Is there a way to export these locations and their GPS coordinates to another machine? Couldn't find on the forum.

thanks!

The Snapshots for Photo Mechanic's Set GPS Coordinates dialog are located in the directory below on your Mac. You can copy the .snap files by accessing them directly from the Finder.

/Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic/GPSCoordinates/

Or, by using the modifier key from within Photo Mechanic's Set GPS Coordinates dialog, as mentioned in this post: http://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=11262.msg55004#msg55004
