Speech Recognition for PC Windows
« on: June 08, 2018, 10:32:13 AM »
Any plans to add Speech Recognition for PC Windows? I am a terrible typist and I would imagine having speech recognition similar to what an Iphone does for texting, would be of immense help and a real time saver for captioning many images at a time. Many of my images have different information per image so you can't just use a template.

No, but I expect that something like "Dragon Naturally Speaking" would be able to enter text into Photo Mechanic as you dictate.

Creating our own dictation module is way beyond our area of expertise.

The speech recognition module within Windows is pretty good. Just place the cursor within any text field and mumble away.
