Ingest Problem
« on: June 26, 2018, 12:32:41 AM »
A few days ago I couldn't ingest images - just a beep on my Mac. It resolved itself later in the day.

Problem reoccured last night and the same this morning.

I've attached the log file and hope I'm not doing anything wrong at my end.

Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 19631 (bf87516) - Macbook Pro - System Sierra Version 10.13.5

Many thanks.
Cheers,

Dougie.

I see entries showing that files that were expected to be there in fact were not there.  When this happens, are you able to copy files with the Finder from the card?  Are you unmounting your cards properly?  You must unmount the card before ejecting it or the OS will consider the new card as the old card.

Hi Kirk,

Can copy across to the Mac no problem - in fact I did this last night in an effort to try ingesting from a temp folder on the Mac - and that failed too.

Cards have been ejected safely - and the problems is on two cards.

Cheers,

Dougie.
