PM and DNG

What is the best practice and settings (prefs) to have PM recognize ACR changes to DNG files. I have tried making changes to a DNG file but cannot get PM to "see" those changes either in thumbnail or preview.

Adjust your ACR settings to get it to update the previews in the DNG files.  Even if we were to render DNG files, it would be very unlikely that our rendering would match theirs, nor would you want PM to slow down to render DNG files.
