Constant crashes
« on: November 04, 2018, 02:17:30 PM »
I have recently made the move back from Windows 10 to windows 7 as I experienced terrible issues with 10. Had to use my backup laptop at one point as the desktop PC simply would not boot. Anyway now back to Windows 7 but having problems with PM 5 which I have been unable to sort. Constant crashes, slow start up are the main symptoms.

PM 5 Build 19711
Disk cache = 612 Mb
Reserve at least 256 Mb
Empty cache on exit checked
memory cache = 1024 Mb

System is AMD Athlone II x 4 640 processor 3.00 GHz
Memory 8.00 Gb (7.75 available)
OS Windows Pro 64 bit
This evening I tried uninstalling PM 5 then re install but it does not appear to have made any difference.
I have a sneaking suspicion it might be the desktop PC is feeling its age and that is the problem, or one of the problems. I have recently decided to scrap it and switch to a new iMac but that will be a couple of weeks away possibly early 2019.

Any help would be appreciated.
