medium format vs full frame

Hello,

I am a new camera bits forum user and would like to start a thread on this. I am looking at the Fuji Medium format and also the Canon 5dsr and would like you guys opinions.

I am certainly more of a 5dsr type of guy but that may just be because I am so heavily invested in canon gear. I say save a bit of cash and go with the 5dsr.

I'm in the same boat about going medium format. I love the look of the GFX 50 series but with the 100 around the corner and the Canon's being a couple of years old now, it may be better to wait until late 2019.

I'm curios to see if they'll update the sensor in the Fuji 50 series as well.

I have the 5DsR and I love it. I'm sure I'd feel the same way about the Fuji too. But investing in a whole new system just doesn't seem worth it for any perceived difference in IQ or UX. All my equipment and workflow is built around Canon. It will take a lot to get me to move.
