PM6 with Sierra

This might be a dumb question but should I only use PM6 with Mojave? I'm using a 2015 MBP with 10.12.6 Sierra which works very well with PM5. I have noticed PM6 is running very slow. Is it mainly for later OS versions?

No.  The range of macOS versions supported by PM6 are macOS 10.10 through macOS 10.14.

You're one of the increasingly number of users experiencing a slow PM6.  We're working to find out why some people have an experience where PM6 is slower than PM5 on the same system.
