No metadata to apply
« on: March 27, 2019, 08:31:01 AM »
Hello, with PM 6 I have no metadata apply (during ingest, or with menu Metadata template > apply template  to selected). Mac OS 10.13.6
is there anything I can do? ? Thank you, Benoît

I don't understand what you're saying.  Does the window not appear?  Or it does appear but it won't let you enter anything into it?  If a screen shot will illustrate the problem, please take one.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshot.

Thanks,

-Kirk

After ingest, there is no metadata visible on the Information menu on the photo. But the metadata are visible on photoshop (File > Information)

Can you provide me the CR2 file along with any XMP sidecar file that matches its base name?

Thanks,

-Kirk

I can see your changed metadata in PM6 on my Mac.  See the attached image.

I'd like to see your IPTC/XMP settings in the Preferences dialog.  Could you post it here?

Thanks,

-Kirk

If you Get Info on the RAW file and the XMP sidecar file, what are their modification times?

Thanks,

-Kirk

Hello, I think there was a bug in the copy of the preferences between PM5 and PM6. I deleted both (and the preference files) and reinstalled PM6. It is now working properly. Thanks Benoît
