PM 6 and Keywords (Control+K) Panel
« on: November 25, 2022, 05:35:10 PM »
I'm using the trial version of PM6, build 6645 (in Windows 10) and I'm finding that as with PM5, I don't fully understand the Keywords panel—the dialog accessible via Control+K. I looked for information about it in the online help. The following appears on the help page at https://docs.camerabits.com/support/solutions/articles/48001144666-adding-keyword-metadata-to-photos

“You can use the Keywords Panel and Edit Keywords dialog box to import, export, and edit a flat list of keywords for controlled vocabulary.”

Details about using the panel itself aren't discussed there and there's no link associated with the words "the Keywords Panel". Does the online help contain another page where this particular dialog is documented?

Camera Bits tech support has replied separately, suggesting the following blog posts:

https://www.carlseibert.com/keywording-in-photo-mechanic-part-1/

https://www.carlseibert.com/keywording-in-photo-mechanic-part-2/

The blog posts contain exhaustive descriptions, and I'm already exhausted reading them. :-)

The first of the two discusses what I asked about: the dialog box opened via Control+K.
