Controlled Vocabulary
« on: April 06, 2007, 12:04:30 PM »
Kirk,

I have the Controlled Vocabulary catalog, but can't figure out how to load it. I had a look on David Riecks site, but he just gives the Mac shortcut. I'm using Win XP. I don't see a "Structured Keywords Panel" just a keywords panel. Is this just a Mac version option?

Yes, currently Mac-only.  I hope to have the Structured Keywords up and running in an update to 4.5, fairly soon.

I use Win XP and would really like the new keywording system in that ships in the Mac version of PM.

Will the Win XP version get this feature soon?  Say in the next month or so?

That's what I'm trying to do, but I have to re-engineer the Navigator.  Taking a different approach, and it will take some time, but stability should be much improved.  Then I can finish up the Structured Keywords for the Windows version.

Kirk,

I just got Riecks's CVKC-3 for WinXP - is it included in PM4.5.1?

No.  The new Navigator took nearly all of my time in 4.5.1.  I'll be getting to the Windows implementation very soon.

Kirk,

You got the Navigator to work just fine now in 4.5.1. Can you foresee the use of CVKC-3 in 4.5.2 for WinXP?
