This is the second update to the Photo Mechanic Plus beta. This beta is open to all Photo Mechanic 6 users. We would appreciate you trying the beta of Photo Mechanic Plus and giving us your feedback and relay any bugs that you find to us. Two new message boards have been created to discuss the beta. • Fixed: Dropping image/folder icons on Photo Mechanic dock icon is not opening contact sheet
• We made some changes to help improve the Mojave Wide Gamut Retina Display performance issue. For users that have been experiencing this performance issue, we would greatly appreciate your feedback with this latest change. For best performance with this build, please turn off the “Always make current Preview visible in Contact Sheet” checkbox in the Preview section of the Preferences dialog.
Windows:
• Fixed: Photo Mechanic Plus Organizer not visible by default.
• Fixed: Shift-Up/Down arrow keys work in reverse for a range selection on the Contact Sheet.
• Fixed: View crop crashes in PM6
• Fixed: AutoPlay launching PM when PM is already running produces error instead of performing ingest/open operation.
• Fixed: Navigator/Favorites doesn't see new folders that PM creates. User must refresh manually.
• Keyboard shortcuts related to right click menu in Navigator have been revamped.
• Updated Photo Mechanic installer to improve the user experience. In particular, managing of the optional third-party GStreamer install should be easier.

• Added: You can now add selected photos to a Collection (you must have selected the Collection first) from the right-click menu in the Contact Sheet.
Fixed: On occasion, “add to catalog”/”scan to catalog” function will stall or never complete.
Reverse Geocode Server now searches for multiple fields in order to populate the “City” field.
Revamped our approach to creating Collections as well as adding items to Collections in an effort to improve the user experience.
Modified our logic for performing JPEG copy to help improve performance (yes, we are always looking to go even faster).
Continued improvements to reliability of Catalog MetaData archival and query engine.
