sendlst1.bin
« on: May 18, 2019, 03:51:25 PM »
Since installing the latest beta of PM plus on a Mac running OS 10.14.1, I down get a file called sendlst1.bin appearing in the Contact Sheet. What is it and why am I seeing it now?

It doesn't show in Mac Finder, so I guess it is considered a hidden file.

No idea.  Can you post one here?

Kirk:

It is attached to this reply, also a screenshot.

The only think I have changed in PM before this started was to Enable Raw Rendering. (Maybe that is why I had turned-it off time time back.)

Do you have a Nikon D5600?  I can see in that file the word "D5600".  There's a little other data and then the rest of the data is all zeroes.  I expect that this is some file that your camera produced and PM copied it on Ingest.  I can add it to the list of files that are ignored.

Yes, Kirk, that’s one of my cameras.

Seems entirely ignorable.

This is a file that is used by the camera when it has been set up to transmit photos via Nikon's Snapbridge app to a mobile device. Apparently it creates the file whether or not you actually transmit any images, or even have the camera/mobile device connection deactivated.

The next build of PM6 will ignore that file on Ingest.
