I noticed this before, and it looked to have been fixed, but I again noticed the infopanel sometimes contains the raw variable names instead of their value (see attachment).
To reproduce:
* Raw file without .xmp file visible in contact sheet, info panel OK
* Create the .xmp file, even a simple touch FILE.xmp will do
* Contact sheet infopanel now shows raw variables (for some of the fields)
Note: this of course is a rare use case and the problem automatically goes away after closing and reopening the contact sheet so it may not have high priority. It may, however, be an indication of a bigger issue so I think is still worth looking into.
