PM6 email will not send but PM5 will send

PM 6 will not send email but PM 5 will send on the same computer.

error; There is no email program associated to perform the requested action.
The default application is The Bat and it works with PM 5.

error: Unable to connect to MAPI.
The Bat email is a MAPI application.

Was a solution provided? I am having exactly the same experience - PM5 works fine, trial version of PM6 on same PC fails to connect to MAPI. MAPI works for every other application on the computer.

Email still does not work on PM6 or PM6 Plus after Beta 4.
