Ingest failure

Hi

I have a problem with ingest on PM6. After ingesting 2 or 3 cards, PM doesn't respond and I have to restart the app. Because of the issue, I'm using PM5 again. Please help.

I'm running PM6 on:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
MacOS Mojave 10.14.3

Does not respond to what action after ingesting 2 or 3 cards?  Another Ingest?  Some other operation?

Does not respond after another ingest

Does no Ingest process start?  What does it do?  Busy cursor?  You have to force-quit the app?

After 2-3 ingests I insert another card and hit ingest button but operation does not start. It shows a busy cursor and stops responding. I have to force quit the app every time.

Unfortunately it isn't all that useful.  I can tell that there is a hang, but not why the hang has occurred.

What kind of cards are you ingesting?  Are they CFast?

They are Lexar 1066x 16GB CF cards. A friend of mine is using the same cards and he's having the problem, too.

What happens if you try to copy the files manually using eg the Finder?

Nothing. It works. It also works well with PM5

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Finder window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.
