Hot Codes on SQL
« on: June 12, 2019, 01:08:36 PM »
Hey together,

I really really love the new Hot Codes and use them really really often.
Pretty much every Metadata I set is somehow based around hotcodes!
But they have their limitations. Generally I find it not that cool having to define tables in text files - It looks ugly and is absolutely prone for formatting mistakes that nuke the whole file.
Since Hot Codes are based around tables it would be pretty cool to be able to use other table formats, and really really nice to be able to use SQL based databases or some kind of API (Feed in existing metadata, receive value for requested key).
I could define all my base data in the Database and just pull out what I need from PM - Wouldn't that be cool?
