Closed: Incorrect Behavior When Editing A Collection Name
« on: June 23, 2019, 04:43:00 AM »
When in an Edit Mode (on Windows, at least) it is common behavior to be able to double-click in the middle of a word to select a word. For example let's take a Collection named 'Test Collection'. Select "Rename Collection" to enter edit mode for the Collection name. Now, double-click in the middle of either word Test or Collection. PM opens a Contact Sheet tab, thus exiting that edit mode, instead of simply selecting the word.

For me, at least, this edit action is instinctive and to have it respond by exiting edit mode and opening a Contact Sheet seems odd (not to mention annoying). It seems the double-click action to open a Contact Sheet should be suspended while in edit mode on the name in order to remain with standard editing functions for the platform.

Regards,
...Bill

You've discovered a bug.  We should be able to fix that.  Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
