Label (variable) changes don't refresh automatically in catalog

Maybe I missed it, but I couldn't find another post about this issue...

If I modify the thumbnail display labels (variables) while viewing a catalog Contact Sheet (Preferences > Contact Sheet > Thumbnails > Labels), then click OK, the label changes don't display unless I open the Folder Path tree and re-double click Volumes. This seems unnecessarily fiddly. In a regular PM6 Contact Sheet, or if using the PM+ Navigator section, the label changes appear instantaneously. Is there a reason why this behavior can't be replicated on the catalog side of PM+?
