pm 6 on an imac in comparison to an macbook pro

Maybe someone could help me out. I am struggeling with the use of pm 6. On my macbook it works as fast as pm 5 but on my much faster Imac it runs unusable slow. I can only use pm 5 on my Imac because it is much faster. But this is not what I want to do in fact. Reinstalling and many other things did not solve the problem. Is it a known one and is there any help for it?

PM6 should in general run faster than PM5 on the same system.  I suggest comparing each of your preferences settings on your MacBook against your iMac.  If that doesn't produce an acceptable result, please contact our support team:
