Erase source disk will not delete tagged images in PM 6

I use two Nikon D4s and a Z6 with Sony XQD cards in Photo Mechanic 6 on a MacBook Pro MacOS Mojave.
I have the Erase Source Disk(s) after ingest box selected and all untagged images do erase but the tagged images are left on the card.
Secondly, the tagged images left on the card are ingested each time creating many duplicates of the tagged images even though incremental ingest is selected.
Any ideas on how to alleviate this?
