Photo Mechanic Plus Beta 10

Hello Everyone,

This is the ninth update to the Photo Mechanic Plus beta.  This beta is open to all Photo Mechanic 6 users.  We would appreciate you trying the beta of Photo Mechanic Plus and giving us your feedback and relay any bugs that you find to us.  Two new message boards have been created to discuss the beta.  Please do not discuss the beta on any of the other boards.  For support on the beta post in http://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?board=22.0, and to request features, post in http://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?board=23.0

Please note that the Photo Mechanic Plus Beta is not feature complete nor is it tuned for maximum performance.  Any catalogs you create may need to be updated if the underlying database format changes.

Public Beta 10 Release (R3783)

macOS:
  ● Thumbnail labels now update when metadata changes dynamically.
  ● The audio playback system has been changed from using the deprecated OpenAL to the new CoreAudio framework’s AVAudioPlayer in an effort to aid stability when playing sounds. If you have previously turned off the “Play move to Trash sound” setting because of this instability and you liked hearing an audible confirmation, you may want to try turning it back on.
  ● Fixed: Cursor Mode submenu on the View menu is always disabled.
  ● Fixed: Extra “Untitled” Contact Sheet tab opens when dropping files/folders on dock icon when no Contact Sheet window is present and preferences are set to create a new Untitled Contact Sheet tab when resumed with no current Contact Sheet window open.

Windows:
  ● Fixed: Windows Remote Desktop connections won't let PM6 launch.

Both:
  ● .ON1 files are now associated with images properly when PM is directed to associate them. (Preferences->Files->Manage file associations…)
  ● Non-colliding rename sorting is performed in PM prior to sending document rename batch to catalogs.
  ● PM no longer ingests Nikon Database files ("NC_FLLST.DAT".)
  ● Relative date/time searches are now supported in Catalog query language. (For example: "capturetime between 2 years ago and 6 months ago", or "capturetime >= 5 hours ago")
  ● Fixed: PM sometimes reporting that it is disabling Catalog features at startup.
  ● Fixed: Selected items should only be removed from Catalogs with Add/Modify checked.
  ● Fixed: Deleting a folder from Navigator/Favorites should inform catalog of deleted files.
  ● Fixed: Contact sheet displaying previous "Browse" search images when performing Browse Search with a specific sequence.
  ● Fixed: Organizer MetaData display gets out of sync when Add/Modify and Search checked in a specific sequence.
  ● Fixed:PM is not reading TIFF file Image Description and Copyright tags.
  ● Fixed: Full size preview for Canon EOS RP CR3 files not shown.
  ● Fixed: Search/Filter/Browse tabs are no longer reused for Folder tabs.
