Eratic "Show blown highlights"

When PM6+ window let see a part of the finder, the "Show blown highlights" possibility is also applied on the underlaying finder !

I've made a mistake: the image I've shown is a screen shot with a part of the finder inside the image.
So, logically, the "Show blown highlights" shows highlights!!
When the image is just a PM6+ window, no problem!!

I just say it's not a bug, just a particular exemple.
The screenshot was very large, not only including 2 images side by side, but also a little part of the finder below the PM6+ window, in the right side of this screenshot.
And it's in this part of this screenshot image (including 2 photos + a part of the finder below)  in a new PM6+ window that shows blowned highlights.
So, it's a logical interpretation of this action. No problem.

Ah.  Now I understand.  Many UI elements have pure white pixels and would then show up as 'blown highlights' when viewed as an image in the Preview window.
