Version 6.6
« on: November 20, 2019, 06:18:18 AM »
Just downloaded 6.6.  Still isn't working. Same error as 6.5.  So I'm back using 6.4
Error is: copy a photo(s) into a new folder. Then, move the original photo which I just copied into another new folder.  Instead of moving, it stays.
Using a MacBook Air 2013, Catalina OS. Photo Mechanic Version 6.0, build 3889

What are these 6.6, 6.5, and 6.4 versions that you're talking about?

The latest updates.  In Applications they are named 6.4, 6.5 etc.

6.4 is Photo Mechanic Version 6.0, build 3889 (6e9c549)
6.6 is Photo Mechanic Version 6.0, build 3954 (158b808)

OK.  We don't use that terminology anymore thus the confusion.

PM5, build nnnnn
PM6, build nnnnn

We use build numbers.  We don't update version numbers except when a completely new product is released.

Thank you.

I've figured why I called it 6.4, 6.5 etc.  Whenever an update is downloaded to Applications I save the old version, in case the new version has a problem.  But Apple automatically gives it the new name.
