Find and Replace not finding when added white space in search
« on: November 27, 2019, 05:23:56 AM »
I was having an issue using Find and Replace in PM6.  I was searching for a specific keyword that I knew existed but kept getting the message the 'search term(s) were not found'.  When I used the exact same search criteria in the Find dialog  the keywords were found.

What I found was that  on  Find and Replace dialog I had an extra carriage return  after the search term ( so the cursor was right under the first letter in the search term).
I deleted the carriage return so the cursor appeared right after the last letter and Find and Replace worked fine.
Did another test with a SPACE after the search team and it was not found. Remove the space and it was.

I checked the Find dialog and I also had the extra carriage return but it found the search term anyway.
I"ve attached screen shots of the two dialogs to show the other search settings.
