German Umlauts in V 4.5
« on: April 12, 2007, 05:34:36 AM »
Hi there!

I got a problem with the german umlauts using the IPTC Stationary Pad.

After ingesting the files I ad the IPTC by using a File for "code replacement". Everything is working fine besides the Umlauts from the Krauts. If there is a man called "Schön" the spelling looks like "Sch?n". I tried different encodings (eg. MS Central Europe) but nothing happend.

Please don´t let me die stupid. ..  :'(

Thanks in advance and regards
Alexander

You need to edit your Code Replacement file with an editor that can read and write UTF-8 text.  The Code Replacement files need to be in UTF-8 format.
