Combined RAW + JPEG not working?

Using build 4073 on Mac OS 10.15.1. When browsing the folders in the "non-plus" side, RAW+JPG images can be combined, but on the catalog side, it doesn't seem to do anything. What am I missing?

That work is incomplete and is not currently functional.
