IPTC stationary pad issue
« on: April 12, 2007, 07:59:32 AM »
I'e notices an issue when using the new stationary pad. As I use "Command-I" the pad comes up scrolled several lines from the top. I have to scroll back up to get to the first line of the caption (Which is what I edit the most). It just adds an extra step that seems unnecessary.
Is this isolated, or a fixable issue?

Thanks!

Are you using Job Minder?  What OS are you running?

Mac OS10.4.8 on a new imac intel core duo. What is Job Minder? Since I don't know what it is, I'm probably not using it :-)
Same issue comes up on a G5 desktop with the same OS and my G4 laptop.

Thanks.

OK, I can't see the flashing cursor in your screenshot so can you tell me what field it was in?

The cursor defaults to the end of the caption field after my photo credit

OK, I'll test with the same text in my IPTC Stationery Pad and see if I can reproduce the issue...

Hey Kirk, any luck with the scrolling? I'm working an event this week and it's a pain to have to keep finding the top of the stationary pad to input text in the caption field!

Thanks!

I have found the issue and fixed it in a development build.
