Looking to export IPTC data to spreadsheet

Happy New Year!

Saw the link below but I can't figure out how to do this.

Can it be done for a single image?  For an entire folder?

Trying to create an paper archive for my images.

Mac 10.12.6 and I have the latest update for PM6

The export function processes the selected images.  Your selection can be a single image or an entire folder's worth of images.  Select some images and then follow the instructions on the post you referenced.
