Delete from Preview returns to Contact Sheet

I can’t tell from the search function if this problem has a resolution. When I delete an image from the Preview screen PM automatically closes the Preview window & reverts to the Contact Sheet. I see no adjustment for this in Preferences. Is it possible for PM to advance to the next image after an image has been deleted rather than returning to the Contact Sheet?

What OS are you running and what build of Photo Mechanic 6 are you using?
