Remember Image Rotation

This must have been requested. Have the catalog remember the correct image rotation.

Cataloging has no bearing on whether rotation is remembered.  The image needs to have EXIF data, specifically the orientation tag.  Then it can be adjusted and all applications that understand digital photos and the EXIF specification will show the image in its corrected orientation.

There are many images scanned from film which will not have orientation info. I do think Aperture had a user defined orientation parameter. Maybe with exiftool it can be fixed, but ...
