Did you file a crash report when the BugSplat crash reporter appeared?

Thanks.  I found it.

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Windows Explorer window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

Thanks,

-Kirk

If i choose File-FTP Photos as... or Upload, nothing happens. The crash only appears when using the key combination. I mean, the PM stops itself.

I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling.  If the problem persists, please let me know.  Thank you for the log.  We'll investigate tomorrow.

Cornel,

We looked into your issue.  Either the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\DataBasePath
doesn't exist, or does not point to: %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
Or it does exist and does point to that path but the 'hosts' file does not exist there.

If the problem is that the file doesn't exist (it is usually at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\), then you can create a blank text file there with the name: hosts

We think that will fix the problem.  If you'd like assistance with any of this, call our support folks and they can help you get the problem solved.  Contact our support folks at:

Hello Kirk,
I created a blank text file named "hosts" in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\  as you said, and now File Uploader works fine again.
Thank You
