Add iPhone GPS Info to Metadata Template
« on: November 28, 2020, 08:55:30 AM »
I am running Photo Mechanic Plus Version 6.0, build 5376 (14f9534) on Mac OS 10.13.6
If it's possible, please explain how to migrate existing iPhone GPS info to the Location fields in the IPTC Metadata Panel.
Thank you,

Peter Aaron

Peter,

I am running Photo Mechanic Plus Version 6.0, build 5376 (14f9534) on Mac OS 10.13.6
If it's possible, please explain how to migrate existing iPhone GPS info to the Location fields in the IPTC Metadata Panel.

Click on the little 'globe' icons to the right of the location-related fields and apply the Metadata Template.  If your images have GPS and the coordinates resolve to actual places, they'll be filled in for each image you had selected when you applied the template.
