6.0.0.5560 - IPTC error
« on: March 08, 2021, 07:40:14 AM »
When I try to apply IPTC stationary to a large number of images, PM hangs and then finally gives me the following error:

Unable to save metadata for K:\HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL\HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL 2021\2021.02.27_HSFB_CC_CON_BW\WEB_022721\HSFB_022721_1001_BW.jpg.

Error writing JPEG metadata to file 'K:\HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL\HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL 2021\2021.02.27_HSFB_CC_CON_BW\WEB_022721\tmp.{647c7b77-9a1e-4ec9-b855-05eb8593845e}.jpg'.

I am running Windows 10 Build 19042 - my external hard drive has 1.42 TB of free space.

So I unplugged the external hard drive from the USB-C hub and plugged it directly into the USB 3.0 port on my laptop and I was able to apply the IPTC stationary.  Wondering if I have a bad USB-C hub.

Sounds like it to me.  Or a bad cable between the hub and your computer.
