The Blue Bars in Keyword Browser

In the keyword browser, assuming that the number is the total number of images with that keyword, please explain what the blue bars signify.

The totals, visually, without having to pay much attention to the numbers.

You can configure this in the menu 'Catalog', 'Catalog Preferences...'.
