Best date to use for old photo scans
« on: April 21, 2021, 06:54:02 AM »
What is the best of the 4 date options to use for scans of old photos. For example photos taken in 1998 but scanned in 2005 or some other date.  It would be useful to have both the taken date but also scanned date although this is less important. It would also be useful to be able to add say 01/01/1998 to the whole batch of images taken in 1998 then go back to the ones where I have the month of taking and add that just to those images.
With directories of 100+ images per year for these old scans it would be useful to do this in batch rather than one at a time.

I suggest starting out with a few images and try the various options and see what works best for you.  Then you can try a bulk method.
