Build 5820 Navigator and External SSDs

Hi.  I have build 5820 runnning on Big Sur (intel mac).  The is probably something really silly, but how do I get external SSDs to show up in the Navigator Window.

They should just show up.  Have you granted Full Disk Access to Photo Mechanic?
